Fun Fall Project!

One of my favorite memories as a child is when my brothers, and sisters and I would gather up the prettiest leaves we could find and preserve them with Polyurethane.
There is nothing more beautiful than the colors of Fall and the reminder of our amazing Creator!

A few weeks ago, my friend Allie and I got together to preserve some leaves! We had a great time walking around the neighborhood and finding the perfect leaves to coat.

It really is a simple project.

Step One: Buy Polyurethane and a small paint brush
Step Two: Fine some pretty fall leaves (finding them in whole pieces is the challenge!)
Step Three: Spread them out over on some newspaper or cardboard and paint away!

Make sure you coat each side completely or the spots you miss with turn brown eventually.
There are so many things you can make out of these leaves!
-Refrigerator Magnets,
-Fall Wreath
-Centerpieces
-Fall Frames
-Or just sprinkle them outside for an added Fall decoration

Here is a little preview of one of my projects...
This is a great DIY project to do with your kids or at girls night to keep you busy!

I will admit...I was working on this again a few days ago and almost killed my husband and myself with the toxic fumes. So, as a warning, do this outside...or in a well ventilated area;)
