A Christmas Poem

My mom wrote this poem yesterday about Christmas.
 She's a great poet!
What do you think?

CHRISTMAS – EMPTY OR FULL
   (by Marge Jenson  Nov. 30, 2011)
In a smelly barn, God’s Son came down.
The world’s asleep, in a field of sheep.
The angels spoke, God’s silence broke.
He came to live, his blood to give.

By death he won the Victor’s crown;
Defeated Satan, sin went down.
To those he calls, his voice they hear;
By faith we come, so do not fear.

Confessing now, just turn from sin;
Receive his grace and look to him.
Believe in Christ, the Babe, the cross;
New life is yours, sin’s pull is lost.

The emptiness of Christmas past,
Is now replaced by Christ who lasts.
My heart is full with the Father’s love;
His Spirit’s with me ‘til I dwell above.
 We finally put up our Christmas tree:)
