So it's time for Friday coffee again...
It has been a rough week.... I started to get sick on Tuesday and got hit with it pretty hard on Wednesday. I actually missed my first day of teaching this semester, which isn't nearly as fun as skipping class because I had to come up with some sub plans! I'm still a little sniffly, but feeling much better :)
I have been able to focus on my student teaching pretty well...up till recently when I caught senioritis. Yes, it's a real illness! I will graduate from college 3 weeks from tomorrow!!! Woohoo!!
It's a little bittersweet. I was talking with a friend of mine about the fact that for the past 16 years, our goals have been for a diploma. First, highschool, and now college. It's going to be weird not having that to look forward to anymore!
That being said, I am very excited to see what God has in store for me after graduation. I am definitely going to be working on my blog a little bit more. I am even contemplating the possibility of starting to write a book...or two. I'm also looking forward to being more involved with my church and just being able to be more available to my family, friends, and most importantly, my hubby.
I serve a great God-one who holds my future secure in his hands!
Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or dirnk; or about your body what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?
Look at the birds of the air; they do nto sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.
Are you not much more valuable than they?
Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?
And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith?
So do not worry, saying, "what shall we eat?" or what shall we drink?" or "what shall we wear?" For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
Don't forget to visit my friends and have a cup of coffee with them this sweet Friday :)
