Old Fashioned Creamy Cole Slaw

Hi everyone! My name is Stephanie, from A Blessed Home Blog and Store. I am honored to be guest posting today here at The Life of Faith. I have to brag a bit about Faith and her blog and how much I enjoy reading her posts and seeing how much she loves the Lord. What a blessing to have found you, my sister in the Lord (way up in Indiana).

So, let me tell you all a little about me and my blog. I am a Jesus lovin', happily married, house cleaning, recipe making, flower growing, blog writing, song singing, type of a woman. I had a vision to add the Lord to every aspect of my daily living and share it with anyone who would read, watch, or listen, and from that dream came, A Blessed Home. You will find many fun, informative and, inspirational, articles over at www.ablessedhome.com. Once you click on over to my site, you will have the choice to shop till your fingers drop at A Blessed Home Store, find a new recipe from A Blessed Home Kitchen, read a post or two from my blog, or take a trip with my husband and I on our travel series, A Blessed Home Away from Home. I hope you all will stop by for a visit.

Today, I wanted to share with you all the most fabulous recipe for a side dish that is perfect for the upcoming 4th of July holiday. It is simple and delicious and pairs beautifully with my Oven Baked Brisket which you can find the recipe for on my blog.

Old Fashioned Creamy Cole Slaw

You will need:

1 bag cole slaw
1 1/4 cup mayonnaise
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 Heinz Gourmet Salad Vinegar
1/4 tsp. celery salt
1/2 tsp. seasoning salt
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/4 tsp. sea salt

Put it all together:

Mix together mayonnaise, sugar, vinegar, celery salt,
seasoning salt, black pepper, and sea salt.

Pour the cole slaw dressing over the cole slaw
and let it set anywhere from 1hr to overnight.

"O taste and see that the LORD is good:"

                                                                           Psalm 34:8

A special thank you to Faith for allowing me to share with all of you today.

  1. I haven't yet looked through your site but your font makes it very difficult to read, not sure if you have gotten this feedback but it makes me want to pass it on by. I like what you have put together though...God Bless!
