Friday Coffee with Faith

I am very excited this Friday! Why you may ask?
It's my first day at my new job! It's just a part time nanny position, but perfect for what I've been looking for.
You wouldn't believe how hard it is to find a job when people find out you're pregnant! I guess no one wants to hire the pregnant lady.
Well this family has a sweet little boy and they said I can continue watching him even after I have my own baby, and just bring mine along! Perfect mom job right?
The only down side is it's a little bit of a drive. We are looking to move closer to that area anyways, so if that works out...woohoo!

Before I get too carried away, I need to catch you up on our camping trip last weekend. It was HOT but a lot of fun:) Aside from the camping part, here is where I spent most of my day...
Even the water was 96 degrees, but it still felt better than the 106 it was outside of the water! That's for sure:)

That's about all that's new in my life right now, but before I head out, I want to leave you with something to think about.
It's deep.
My brother posted this on Facebook this morning, and as I watched it, I was overwhelmed by it.
It addressed an issue that I think many Christians deal with but don't realize it-trying to do things in our own strength. I am guilty of this as well. I pray for God to give me peace, love and joy, instead of allowing him to be peace, love and joy in my life.
Here is a quote from the end of the movie and then I will just let you watch it for yourself...

"Don't pray that God would teach you to have joy, pray that the God full of living joy would enter into you...because if you try to imitate in your own strength, you will be a miserable replica....but...God is very good at being God."

The movie starts out very dark and eerie...but it gets better I promise!
What did you think? I would love to hear your reactions. As a Christian reader, did this challenge the way you live your life? As a non-Christian reader, does this change the way you view Christianity?

Well, I'm off to get ready for work now. I hope you all have a fabulous Friday and weekend...
If you haven't entered my giveaway, Don't miss out! You can find it here.

P.S. Don't forget to visit my friends and have a cup of coffee with them this sweet Friday :)
