Yes, don't panic, I skipped a week!
I was busy, and tired, and well...just never got around to updating you all on sweet baby.
I will just have to double update this week to make up for it:)
How far along: 27 weeks...the last week of my 2nd trimester is here!
Movement: A LOT of movement still. I am noticing times that she is awake and moving and times when she won't even budge when I poke her. I guess she's got a good sleeping pattern going on!
Weight Gain: 12 pounds so far, but it feels like so much more than that!
Maternity Clothes: I pulled out my sweaters this week and I love it! They are super stretchy, fit over my belly, and cover my unbuttoned jeans! I did make my first trip to Motherhood this week to get some jeans. It was the most I have ever spent on a pair of jeans and they were clearance! I needed them though. Now I can stop complaining about not having any jeans to wear:)
Best moment of my week: It was a pretty busy week last week...I had a garage sale to clean out the spare bedroom to make room for baby sweet pea's stuff! It was fun but a lot of work. I also had a doctors appointment and an ultrasound this week. I got to see how much she has grown! During the ultrasound, she was all stuffed up in my left side with her ankles crossed like a lil' lady:) I couldn't love her more!
Worst moment of my week: Just not feeling well. I have been pretty tired and nauseous off and on lately which isn't fun.

Sleep: I slept for 10 hours straight last Saturday night! You could tell having that garage sale wore me out! I have been sleeping pretty good other than the thunder storms that keep waking me up and occasionally my full bladder!
Miss Anything: I saw someone running outside this week and I thought, hmm won't it be nice when I can just full out run again? I don't really miss it necessarily, but it is something to look forward to!
Cravings: Chocolate, and lately fruit...any kind of fruit!
Aversions: Eggs still repulse me. Eww
Gender: She is still a girl! You can read about our gender reveal party here!
Belly Button: I have an outie!
Labor Signs: More braxton hicks. My doctor is a little concerned but nothing to get too worried about yet as they are far enough apart. Prayers are appreciated though that they don't progress into anything more until the right time!

Moody or Happy: Stressed and a little tired at the moment.
Looking Forward: I am looking forward to getting the crib in the spare bedroom and turning it into Sweet Pea's room! Oh, and of course I can't wait to meet my baby girl in about 3 months!!!
Thanks to all of you who have been such an awesome and sweet support to me in my pregnancy. I love giving you updates and reading your sweet comment responses. I have the best readers!

DeleteI've been feeling a little under the weather too, maybe it's just the Fall weather coming in. But I'm sorry you're so stressed! I'll be praying that everything calms down for you and that those Braxton Hicks contractions calm down too. They make me get a little nervous too when I have a ton. Can't wait to see pictures of your nursery!
ReplyDeleteKeep up the good work mommy! You're doing great!

You look sooo great. I remember that is how I carried in my first pregnancy... I didn't know how lucky I was then lol! I feel like both our pregnancies are flying by though. We will be posting about our adorable baby girls in no time!!!!
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing! Super tiny....you're definitely all baby :) I always miss running when I'm pregnant too....it helps for getting back into shape right after baby though :) I got up to 8 mile runs in and kicked all of my baby weight and then some after both of my boys. Hoping I'm able to do the same this time around...

I am new to the Mommy Moments link up. I think your baby bump is adorable. I never got to be tiny like that because I had twins my first pregnancy and that made the other two after that just have sooo much room to grow LOL. I am praying for you and the braxton hicks and I am also a new follower.
