Fun Fruit Infused Water

For the past few months, I have been on a mission to drink more water!
I've never been much of a soda girl, but I love sweet tea, coffee, and mainly flavored beverages so water has always been hard for me to drink in large quantities. I decided to begin my mission with a cute little mason jar, a straw and a bag of lemons.

I hate the blah taste of water so lemons are a fun way to zest it up! Plus, lemons have so many benefits! Did you know?

After a while, the lemons got boring so I started adding other fun stuff to my water. Surprisingly enough, the water really does take on a lot of the flavor of whatever you put in the water! Not to mention, you are getting a lot of the vitamins from the fruits or veggies you are using! I purchased my inspiring drinking jar at Gordmons, but I've included a couple links at the end of this post if you are like me and need a cute jar glass for motivation.
Here are a few ideas for you to get started!

Lemon and Blueberry Water

Lemon and Cucumber Water
This one is particularly delicious if you add a few sprigs of mint or basil!

Lemon and Orange
You get some nice zest going with this one...and a lot of vitamin C too!

And my personal favorite:
Strawberry Lemonade!

  1. Chrissy just had a similar post just the other day. Perhaps this a sign that I really need to start infusing my water more? I prefer to keep a class decanter in the fridge with infused water so I can pour from it all day. p.s. CUTE glass! I have plastic ones like it.

  2. I just started drinking more water this week. I am ADDICTED to diet coke and diet dr.pepper so I decided to try drinking more water and cutting down on soda. I'll have to try adding fruit when I get bored with plain water

  3. I love that you drink our of a jar, too! Did you make that or buy it somewhere? It's very cute. This a good idea. I need to be better at drinking water, too! Pinning this!

  4. My favorite color is purple, so every day I fill up my 36 oz. (BPA free!) water bottle with filtered water and keep it at my desk... then my goal is to drink it all by the end of the day. When I feel hungry I drink instead of eating snacks and that usually solves the problem. I got some vanilla flavored stevia drops that make the lemon water better too! I've never been a water drinker either, but it's so important to help our bodies detox that I'm making the effort. I've only got one me and I need to do a good job of taking care of my body! I think JP+ is good for helping me to drink more water too!

  9. Call me crazy (I am crazy so it's really okay) but I haaaaaate lemon water :( HATE IT! But I had no idea the benefits that come from it! Guess I better learn to like it because I especially need help with my blemishes these days!
