Little guy is 4 months old!

The months continue to fly by and we have a 4 month old on our hands complete with rolling, scooting, squeals, giggles and unfortunately some teething

Weight: 18 pounds (approximately)

You are no longer staying in one place like you used to and have become very curious about everything going on around you. It is amazing to see the world through the eyes of a 4 month old as everything creates a look of wonder in your eyes. I love it!

You are rolling like a champ and scooting around on your belly and your back. We can't leave you on the bed anymore, that's for sure! You are also getting pretty good at sitting up on your own but still need a little help. You're growing so fast!

Clothing/Diaper Size
Still in size three diapers, but we have been sticking with the cloth diapers during the day which is working great! There was actually a night last week where you and your big sister wore the same size diaper (4). You are seriously only 7 pounds away from her now! When she holds you, she says "he's smushing me!"
You are sneaking into size 9 month clothing which is crazy because I had stocked up on summer clothes in that size not realizing how quickly my son was going to grow!

Health Update:
We don't have any new updates on the kidney condition, but you seem to be doing great. Another ultrasound is scheduled for next month so we will know more then. In the meantime, we appreciate all of the continued prayers from everyone!

Christmas was full of great memories for all of us! It was the first time we got to spend a family Christmas with the Konrath side of the family and we had a lot of fun! You looked adorable in your little Christmas outfit from your Aunt Helen and the adorable hat from your Aunt Beth!!

We had our first overnight visit with our friends Matt and Nicole since we both added new babies to our families! You two are only 6 days apart. It doesn't get sweeter than that!

On my birthday, we had the first snowfall of the season here! Since you had a cold, we only dressed you up in your snowsuit for the photo and then came right back inside. It's a memory though! Your first snow day!

You are a little less afraid of your sister now and find her very entertaining. She does a great job of making you smile and laugh with her crazy antics! I am so excited to watch you two grow up together and hope you are always the best of friends!

Dad of the year award goes to your amazing daddy! He has been amazing with the transition from one to two kids, even taking care of you both on his own so I can get out every now and again. Yeah, he's the best!

Dear little guy,
We haven't stopped thanking God for the miracle that you are. I keep thinking back to when we first found out we were pregnant (a year ago now). My hormone levels were low and we thought we might lose you. We breathed a sigh of relief after we made it through the first trimester only to hear that we might lose you to a potential virus. When that was ruled out, we were told you would probably have Down Syndrome in addition to your kidney's not functioning properly. Through the ups and downs, we learned to have faith that God was knitting you together, not us. According to HIS perfect will, you are so healthy and we are praising Him for that! I pray you never forget how your life started-as a miracle! You are full of smiles, giggles, squeals and adorable looks these days even in spite of teething. We all adore you around here and are excited to see you keep growing, although we don't mind if you slow it down a little! At this rate you are going to be bigger than anyone in this family (which isn't really saying much, but still)! We love you so much sweet boy!
