7 Month Memories

Weight: 18 Pounds (40th percentile)
Height: 2 Feet, 4 Inches. (75th percentile)
Head: 17.5 Inches (68th percentile)

Milestones

This is happening.

You mainly crawl backwards...and face plant a lot. You're getting places though! Time to clean the house I guess.

You have some pretty good competition in the talking department with your 3 year old sister's expertise. You have learned to make the dada and mama sounds but haven't quite made the connection with who they belong to. I'm sure it won't be long though, your sister is a great teacher!

You are teething still but nothing has popped through yet. I'm ok with that since you are still mostly breastfed. This month you have enjoyed trying some new foods though and like it best when you can feed yourself.

You are doing a great job sitting up by yourself without falling over ever minute! I still feel better when you have a pillow behind you just in case you topple over, though.

Memories

We have made a lot of great memories at the Zoo with friends. We are so thankful to have such great friends to hang out with!

You took your first wagon ride with your cousin this month. You loved it!

Swinging is still a favorite and gets lots of giggles out of you. I just love that face!

Here's a little taste of the happiness you bring everyday :)

Family
This is how you feel about your sister most days. She means well, most of the time, but just loves you very aggressively. She is always so excited to see you when you wake up and she can make you smile and laugh more than anyone else. I hope you guys are always best buddies!

You are still a daddy's boy and light up whenever you hear his voice. I know it won't be long before you are tagging along behind him as his little helper!

This photo captures the happy in our family. We have our share of tough days, tears, impatience, frustrations, and stress, but those smiles make it worth it all. We are so blessed.

Dear sweet boy,

There are still moments when I look at your happy face and my eyes fill with tears because of how grateful I am for your life. Not only is your life a miracle, but you fill our lives with so much joy. Your smile and laugh has already made this world a better place. I'm so thankful that God made me your mama.
